The rain cleared just in time as the crew rolled into Sullivans’ farm near beautiful Lake Matheson — tools in hand and ready to go! Tash led the charge, handing out gear and getting everyone stuck in. There was still plenty of maintenance to tackle: releasing established plants from thick grass and weeds — essential work that helps them thrive.
Even with the cleanup, we managed to get another 100+ native plants in the ground!

The transformation of this site over the past two years has been incredible. Trees are taking hold, and the carexes are doing their job protecting the waterway from sediment and runoff. It's a powerful reminder of what happens when community comes together to care for the land.

We’re not done yet — we’re already prepping for our next big planting day in July!
